Sunday Morning Our Sunday morning service is one hour in length beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the main Sanctuary. Members of our pastoral and leadership teams lead the times of worship that include singing, reading of the Scripture, and prayer.
Our music is a blend of old and new to aid us in our praise of God. We aim to sing songs that turn us towards God, are full of theological truth, and exalt Jesus Christ.
The preaching of the Bible, which we believe is God’s Word, is led by a member of our pastoral staff. It often comes in the form of a series through a book of the Bible geared towards real-life application of Gospel centered truths.

Sunday Evening Our Sunday evening service is more casual and held in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a light, potluck meal. At 6:00 p.m., the children and youth breakout to their activities and the adults remain in the Fellowship Hall for a time of worship through singing and Bible study.

Sunday School begins at 10:45 a.m. and we have classes for all age-groups. These classes meet for prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. Our friendly Welcome Center volunteers will have more information on the Sunday School classes that are available.

During the morning Worship Service, there is a worship program for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We do extensive background checks on our volunteers and they will care for your children and ensure their safety.

Yes, we have a specially prepared room and trained volunteers to serve children with special needs. This class is available during Sunday School and the Worship Service. Our hope is that those we disciple will be encouraged and learn about Christ’s love for them. See here for more information.

You will find that at First Baptist Lyman some people dress up while others come a little more casual. We want people who attend to feel comfortable in what they wear. Our leaders and staff usually come in anything from business casual to even jeans at times.

If you have a Bible, please bring it as everything that is taught is directly from the Bible. If you don't have a Bible, don't worry - we have Bibles for you or you can download a free Bible for Android or iPhone.

Our Welcome Center is located in the Sanctuary foyer but we have greeters at every door. Let them know you are a guest and they will direct you. See Maps.

The main parking lot is located on the north side of Church Street. Handicap parking is located beside the church building on the south side of Church Street. See Maps.
